just rings

call for participation

Violaine Ulmer opened her own jewelry gallery in the old quarter of Toulouse, France.

This is the occasion to permanently see her complete collection, and punctually the jewelry work of other designers.

For this, several events will be organized in the course of the year.

The first one «just rings» (working title) will take place in june 2012.

The project is to show rings, and nothing but rings, in order to advocate other jewelers work for the duration of one month.

The gallery will take charge of

  • the communication of the event,
  • the scenography,
  • the sales of the rings,
  • the packaging,
  • and the transport back of the pieces not sold.

All rings will be presented in a unique scenography. A sketch of the intended scenography is here: www.violaine-ulmer.com/galerie/scenographie.jpg

The designer will presented on a wall-hanging, clearly describing his coordinates and his artistic development and approach; each visitor can thus contact the designer directly.

The pieces will be sold at the price defined by the designer. No percentage will be retained from the sales.

Each selected designer can expose between 4 and 10 rings. As replacement stock, the designer can send in the same amount again (8 rings for 4 exposed rings up to 20 rings for 10 exposed rings - be it same ring different size, or similar model).

The participation fee is fixed at 20 euros per exposed ring. The inscription fee is fixed at 25 euros per participant, irrespective from the number of ring presented.

The designer takes charge of the transport of his jewelry to the gallery.
